Gather around friends and close your eyes. When I say apple pie, what do you see?
Damn, you guys are a bunch of sickos!!!
I think about how much I miss some of my favorite sweet treats. It’s no secret that I have a addiction love for all things almond butter.
I actually have quite the collection (5 flavors of Legendary foods nut butters, a half empty jar of Justin’s, and some Skippy just for good measure).
Now, if you are thinking about judging me, you know the routine. Shove your judgement and move along. There’s no room for you here.
Now if you were thinking about shoving a spoon and tasting all then keep reading, it’s about to get good.
When I opened the Legendary foods Apple Pie almond & cashew butter it smelled exactly like apple pie. I was a bit hesitant to try because it looked chunky. Like a true badass, I dove spoon first into that jar for science
It was at that moment I heard it. Angels. Angels singing.
I know I had to make something amazing to showcase this stuff (pronounced keep me from eating this stuff straight from the jar). That my friends is how the apple pie muffins were born.
It’s a really super simple recipe. No waiting for things to come to room temperature
Gather your ingredients

Add:
- Almond flour
- Eggs
- Cinnamon
- Vanilla extract
- Swerve brown sugar
- Lakanto (or Splenda Naturals Erythritol)
- Melted butter
- Almond milk
- Apple Pie Almond and Cashew nut butter (The star of the show)
Pro Tip: Put your bowl on a kitchen scale and measure out the nut butter in grams.
Mix until smooth
I use silicone muffin liners, but you do you. Pour the batter into whatever you decide (makes about 7 full size muffins)
In a small bowl, combine a bit of cinnamon at brown sugar swerve.
This is optional and can be done to taste. I went heavy handed this time so do less than me! A pinch is perfect. I did a sprinkle on the last batch and I wanted more.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 25 min. Ovens vary, watch them so you don’t over-bake. I start checking them at 20 min.
That’s it. Super easy
I enjoy them warm, but I feel like they have better flavor the next day. Store in the fridge

You might also want to get some almonds while you are at it. The pizza are my favorite with bacon cheddar and ranch tied for second.
